Diet flaxseed cereal with natural taste and flavors: chocolate, blueberry, lemon, peach, cherry, strawberry, mushroom, dried apricots, herbs and dried vegetables.
Flaxseed cereal can be used in almost any recipe and even as an egg or butter substitute. Does not contain salt and sugar, can be poured with hot milk or hot water and is brought to the desired taste by the consumer by adding salt and sugar.
Flaxseed cereal is a new type of flaxseed in powder form. The product is well absorbed by the body and saturates it with many important elements. Flaxseed cereal simplifies the preparation of flaxseed broth, nutrients dissolve better, and it also becomes possible to use flavors. Flaxseed porridge can be consumed 2-3 times a day together with milk, yogurt, fruit juice, honey, salted or sweetened. Elf's flaxseed porridge is a good addition to soups, homemade cakes and sauces.

Proteins in flaxseed cereal. The amino acid composition of flaxseed proteins is similar to that found in soy proteins, which are considered the most nutritious plant proteins and have a high nutritional value.
Fats in flaxseed cereal. The mass fraction of fat in the composition of cereals is from 12 to 20%, and represented by polyunsaturated fatty acids of the omega 3 and omega 6 families, characterized by a low content of saturated fatty acids undesirable in the diet and promotes the implementation of important for the human body biological functions.
Microfibers (cellulose) in flaxseed are shells of seed cells and consist of polysaccharides, starches, insoluble phenolic polymers and lignins. The content of soluble and insoluble fiber varies from 1:4 to 2:3. The insoluble fiber fraction consists of carbohydrates (cellulose) and complex polymeric compounds (lignins). The water-soluble fiber fraction is primarily vegetable gluten. Both forms of fiber are valuable as food components due to their physiological effects (promotes bowel function, reduces atherosclerosis and lipodemic deposits). The Institute of Cancer Research (USA) has determined the rate of fiber intake at 25-35 grams per day.
Lignans in flaxseed cereal. Plant Lignans are phenolic compounds containing a dibenzobutane group. Flaxseed is one of the richest sources of lignans belonging to the phytoestrogen class, i.e. substances of plant origin showing estrogen-like activity in the human body. Experiments on animals have shown that some of the lignans have a curative effect at different stages of carcinogenesis and disrupt the growth of tumor cells. There is evidence that flax seed lignans can be used as an antiallergen. In addition, flax lignans have a powerful antioxidant effect. In this respect, it is similar to synthetic antioxidants. Its use in the treatment of atherosclerosis and coronary heart failure is based on this property.
Minerals and vitamins. The content of trace elements and vitamins in flaxseed is given on the label. Flaxseeds are particularly rich in potassium, which is seven times more than bananas (counts as dry weight). Flaxseeds are the best natural sources of selenium.
Flaxseed cereal and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Flax seeds are used in treatment of atherosclerosis of the coronary (heart) and peripheral vascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, and other diseases accompanied by hyperlipidemia (high fat, especially cholesterol (the S.Cunnane and other, «American Journal of Clinical nutrition», 1997). Its action is similar to that of the official drug in the United States Pharmacopoeia, Lavastatin (Mivacor), (Drug Information Hand Book, 6th edition, 1998-1999). Unlike Lavastatin, flaxseed does not cause any side effects or contraindications. Flaxseed prevent the deposition of cholesterol in the atherosclerotic plaques (Earl Mindell and Hester Mundis. The vitamin Bible, 1997). Flaxseeds contain own vitamin E, so when using the flaxseeds as a source of vitamin F (linolenic and linoleic acids), its additional reception is not required. Since it is believed that the main and possibly the only an important physiological function of vitamin E is to protect essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F) in various tissues, especially in the liver, from the effects of oxidants.
Flaxseed cereal and respiratory diseases. In ancient eastern medicine, flaxseeds were used as a medicine with dissolving, cleansing and emollient properties. According to Avicenna's description, flaxseeds help with "mucous cough" with laboured breathing. Flax seeds are prescribed as an expectorant and antitussive agent for pneumonia, acute and chronic bronchitis, pleurisy.
Flaxseed cereal and diseases of the digestive system. The mucus of flaxseeds, formed during brewing with boiling water, has a mild laxative, enveloping, emollient, anti-inflammatory, analgesic properties. When taken internally, flaxseed mucus coats esophagus and stomach with a thin layer of the mucous membrane, protecting it from irritation. This is especially important in peptic ulcers of the stomach, which are usually accompanied by increased secretion of gastric juice. The mucus layer is retained for a long time, providing a protective and calming effect in case of esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus), gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, enteritis, colitis, chronic cholecystitis, hemorrhoids, food poisoning. Once in the large intestine, cereal continues to swell, loosens its content and facilitates the movement of feces, which is extremely useful for constipation, i.e. flaxseed cereal is an effective laxative. The fatty oil contained in the cereal also has a beneficial effect. It covers the intestinal walls with a thin layer and enhances the sliding of feces. Flaxseed cereal is also used as an antihelminthic agent. It has a positive effect in the treatment of renal lupus.
Flaxseed cereal and diseases of the urinary organs. Due to its cleansing, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, flaxseed cereal is used for cystitis, pyelitis, nephritis, kidney stone disease.
Flaxseed cereal and the condition of the skin and hair. Flaxseed cereal ensures normal healthy skin and hair. Prevents their age-related changes. Promotes the "return of youthful skin". In case of psoriasis and tuberculous lupus, recent reports indicate that the body is deficient in omega-3s. The introduction of flaxseed cereal into the diet helps to improve the patient’s condition of patients with these diseases, treatment for which is often ineffective.
Flaxseed cereal and diabetes. According to Canadian researchers, eating bread with a 25% flax supplement results in a typical post-meal rise of blood sugar 28% lower than using bread without the supplement. Flaxseed cereral reduces diabetes dependence on insulin injections (Excerpted from publication by the flax council of Canada, 1998).
Flaxseed cereal at different periods of a woman's life. Flaxseed cereal contributes to normal growth and development of the fetus, the onset of term labor, increases lactation. Flax cereal reduces to minimum menopausal discomfort, decrease bone pain, eliminates vaginal discharge, thereby reducing irritability, anxiety, etc. This is largely due to the fact that flaxseed is a source of phytoestrogens (plant female sex hormones).
Flaxseed cereal and men sexual dysfunctions. Flaxseed cereal increases the production of testosterone, the male sex hormone, stimulates spermatogenesis, improves erection, and, as a result, it’s effective in impotence.
Flaxseed cereal and mental illness, alcoholism, drug addiction. According to Dr. D. Rudin, Omega-3 deficiency is one of the main causes of most mental illness and mental health problems. In this regard, the intake of flaxseed cereal helps to improve the condition in schizophrenia, depression, alcoholism, drug addiction (especially with withdrawal syndrome, abstinence), a number of behavioral disorders (Biology Psychiatry, vol. 16, No. 9, 1981).
Flaxseed cereal and radiation exposure. Flax cereal in many cases protects the body from the harmful effects of radiation exposure, promotes the excretion of radionuclides under radiation infection.
Flaxseed cereal and cancer. ВLignans - compounds that inhibit the growth of breast cancer - have been found in flaxseed cereal. In its antitumor properties, lignans are similar to tamoxifen, which is widely used not only in the last stage of cancer, but also in precancerous changes in the mammary glands. It is possible that lignans will be able to replace the artificial chemical compound tamoxifen in the future. Flaxseed cereal prevents the development of prostate tumors.
Flaxseed cereal and diseases caused by a lack of prostaglandins. Unsaturated fatty acids are the main precursors of prostaglandins, extremely physiologically active substances. It is very useful for pulmonary diseases, inhibits the secretion of gastric juice, which is necessary with its excess, for gastritis with high acidity, gastric ulcer, reduces peripheral vascular resistance, thereby lowering blood pressure, taking part in the transmission of nerve impulses, restoring the work of various organs, contributes to the onset, normal development of pregnancy and childbirth.
Flaxseed cereal and obesity. Flaxseed cereal, due to the abundance of Omega-3 and Omega-6, promotes the burning of saturated fats, a large amount of which is found in animal products.
Flaxseed cereal and hypovitaminosis. Flaxseed cereal is a natural source of vital vitamins A , E, B1, B2, B6, B12, which are fully assimilated.
Flaxseed cereal and mineral starvation. Flaxseed cereal is a rich source of easily assimilated minerals - calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron, molybdenum, copper, chromium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium. All these elements are in an easily digestible form, and therefore flaxseed cereal is very useful in case of a deficiency of minerals in food.
