Additional Information
Breastfeeding is one of the most important factors in the normal growth and development of a baby. Breast milk has a unique composition: perfectly balanced content of nutrients (fats, proteins and carbohydrates), enzymes, vitamins and minerals. The antibodies contained in breast milk, regulators of the child growth and development contribute to the formation of the child's immune system, stimulate the growth of normal microflora and protect the infant from dysbiosis.
Breastfeeding is the "impetus" for starting and maintaining the process of the formation of neural connections responsible for the subsequent mental development of the child. The production of breast milk is also beneficial for the mother: breastfeeding helps to quickly overcome the consequences of childbirth, and reduces the risk of developing cancer.
Rational nutrition of nursing mothers plays an important role in the formation, duration and stimulation of lactation. One of the main approaches to rationalizing the nutrition of nursing mothers is the use of specialized foods fortified with protein, vitamins and mineral salts to create diets that are balanced for most nutritional factors.
